Thanks to everyone who came out to the Dallas Comic Con! It was greatness. I had a blast selling books, doing sketches (some of which were very unique requests!) and just getting to talk to people who read dorm dorks.

Sitting in my room alone while I make the strips, I often don’t get to see the responses people have to my work, which is one of the reasons I enjoy conventions so much. Thanks to everyone who came out and said hi, and if you weren’t able to make it, don’t worry, I’ll be hitting more cons throughout the year, so keep checking the site for more info.

I also got to meet Kris Straub, which I’ve been wanting to do for a while, since he’s one of my absolute favorite web-cartoonists. He was awesome, and did a really cool sketch in the front of my “Starslip Crisis” book.

Greetings! In the morning we ship off for Wizard World Texas in Arlington. I’m pretty excited and also pretty scared. So, please, drop by Artist Alley and see us, hang out, and show us you love us.

We’ll be selling some books, most notably the Dorm Dorks: Primordial Soup collection, and we’ll also have some copies of “Five Iron Fashion” and “Love Song” laying around. I’m sure we’ll have lots of pictures and news to bring back from the show, so check back and see the hijinks that will probably ensue.
